Partner and Arsa
How do I connect with my partner?
- Make sure you are both signed in to iCloud on your iPhones (Settings → [your name]) and iCloud Drive is on.
- In Sana, open the Account tab, go to Partner, choose what to share, and tap Invite partner via iCloud. Send the link by Messages, WhatsApp or any app.
- Your partner installs Sana, chooses I'm her partner, and opens the link on their iPhone (or pastes it when Arsa asks for it).
No codes to match. If the invite fails, check that both phones are online and signed in to iCloud, then try again.
What can my partner see?
Only the items you switch on in Partner, one by one. Everything starts off. They never see your raw logs, notes, chats or doctor information. You can switch an item off or end the connection at any time. See Partner sharing in the Privacy Policy.
How do we disconnect?
In Account → Partner, end the connection. Sana stops sharing straight away and removes the shared records from iCloud.
Your data
How does iCloud sync work?
iCloud sync is off by default. Turn it on in Account → Privacy & data. Sana then keeps a copy of your data in your private iCloud, so it moves with you to a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account. Without it, your data lives only on this iPhone, so export it before you change phones.
How do I move to a new iPhone?
Either turn on iCloud sync before you switch, or restore your new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one. You can also keep a copy with Account → Privacy & data → Export.
How do I delete my data?
Account → Privacy & data → Delete everything. This erases all Sana data on your phone, the copy in your iCloud, and any partner connection. It cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy. Sana has no account to close. More on the Delete your data page.
Can I import from Apple Health?
Yes. In Settings, open Apple Health and allow Sana to read menstrual flow. Sana imports the last 180 days. It never writes to Health.
Can I lock Sana?
Yes, turn on the app lock in Account → Privacy & data. Sana then asks for Face ID or your passcode when it opens, and hides its content in the app switcher.
Subscriptions
How do I cancel Sana Plus?
Open iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Sana and tap Cancel Subscription. Or tap Manage subscription in Sana (Account → Sana Plus). Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep Plus until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I restore a purchase or get a refund?
Tap Restore purchases in Account → Sana Plus, signed in with the Apple Account you paid with. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What's free and what's in Plus?
Tracking, predictions, the care game, partner pairing, safety notices, export and the basic doctor report are free. Lite and Pro add the Smart Sana features. Prices and details are on the home page and in the Terms of Use.
Smart Sana (AI)
How do I turn Smart Sana off?
Switch off Smart Sana in Account → Privacy & data. Sana stops sending anything to the AI service, and deletes your chat history and "what Sana knows about you" from your phone. Everything else keeps working offline.
What does Smart Sana send, and to whom?
Only while it's on and you use it: your message, the context it needs (like your cycle history) and anything you attach, sent through our relay to Anthropic's Claude model, with short checks by TypeSafe. It isn't used to train AI. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
It says I've reached the daily limit.
Smart Sana has a daily message limit that resets each day (UTC). Pro has a much higher limit. Tracking and everything outside the chat still work.
Cycle and health
Why did my prediction change?
Sana learns from the cycles you log, so each new period updates the next prediction and its range. Irregular cycles give wider ranges. Predictions are estimates, not medical advice, and Sana is not birth control.
I'm pregnant. What happens to tracking?
When you log a positive test, Sana pauses cycle predictions and shows pregnancy-safe food tips instead. After the birth, tap "I've given birth"; when your period comes back, tap "My period returned" to start tracking again.
Can I change the language?
Yes. Sana follows your iPhone's language, and you can switch between English and Bahasa Indonesia in Settings → Language.
Still stuck?
Email steward@arsana.cloud. Please don't send health details you don't need to; a short description and a screenshot are usually enough.
